Role: Associate Trainer

Through structured classroom learning, practical simulations, and hands-on accounting training, we prepare fresh graduates and early-career professionals to become client-ready Bookkeepers supporting US-based clients.
Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Trainer to join Numera Academy and play a key role in shaping the next generation of accounting professionals. In this role, you will work closely with trainees, delivering the Numera Academy curriculum through interactive classroom sessions, hands-on learning, and practical accounting exercises. Your primary responsibility will be to equip trainees with the technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to become client-ready Bookkeepers supporting our US accounting practice. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and a genuine passion for inspiring, mentoring, and developing fresh talent into confident, high-performing finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
● Deliver engaging classroom and practical training sessions aligned with the Numera Academy curriculum.
● Train and mentor fresh graduates and early-career professionals in bookkeeping, accounting fundamentals, and US accounting practices.
● Prepare trainees to become client-ready Bookkeepers by providing hands-on exposure to real-world accounting scenarios and workflows.
● Deliver lesson plans, training presentations, assignments, case studies, simulations, and learning materials.
● Conduct assessments, quizzes, mock client assignments, and practical evaluations to measure trainee progress and technical competency.
● Identify learning gaps and provide personalized coaching and mentoring to help trainees achieve the required proficiency.
● Monitor trainee attendance, engagement, performance, and overall progress, maintaining accurate training records and reports.
● Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
● Continuously review and enhance the Numera Academy curriculum by incorporating feedback, emerging accounting practices, and business needs.
● Support the certification and deployment of trainees into Bookkeeper roles by ensuring they meet the required technical and professional standards.
● Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Academy.
Ideal Candidate Profile
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
● 4-8 years of experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance roles.
● Prior experience as an Accounting Trainer, Faculty, Instructor, or Subject Matter Expert is preferred.
● Strong understanding of Accounting Principles, Bookkeeping, and US GAAP.
● Hands-on experience with accounting tools, and advanced G Suite(Google Sheet, Google Word, PPT & etc).
● Excellent presentation, communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
● Passionate about training fresh graduates and preparing them for client-ready Bookkeeper roles. ● Candidates from reputed Accounting/Finance training institutes, academies, colleges, or corporate L&D teams will be preferred.
