We are currently hiring for an Associate Technical Manager – Full Stack & DevOps role for a leading digital engineering organization based in Chennai.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for owning architecture, delivery standards, and execution quality across multiple digital deliverables including CMS platforms, web applications, emails, banners, interactive experiences, and kiosks.
The role requires a balance of technical leadership (60%) and hands-on development (40%), along with strong DevOps exposure and team management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own technical architecture for all project deliverables including CMS builds, web apps, front-end experiences, emails, banners, and interactive solutions
- Define and enforce technical standards including coding conventions, repository structure, and deployment practices
- Conduct code reviews and ensure quality compliance before QA handoff
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical blockers related to environments, integrations, and builds
- Lead daily standups and provide technical updates to delivery stakeholders
- Triage QA defects, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution
- Contribute directly to development when required
- Collaborate with stakeholders on technical alignment and architecture decisions
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and automation opportunities including AI-assisted development tools
- Own onboarding and ramp-up of new developers to ensure productivity within the first week
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years of hands-on software development experience
- Minimum 3 years in a technical lead or architect role
- Strong full-stack development expertise
- Strong DevOps knowledge including CI/CD and automation practices
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Drupal
- Experience working in offshore or distributed team environments
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability
Good to Have
- Experience in healthcare, pharma, or regulated industry environments
- Exposure to MLR or compliance review workflows
- Experience delivering multi-format digital assets (web, CMS, emails, banners, interactive applications)
- Familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor AI, etc.

- Location: Chennai (Onsite – Prestige Polygon, Teynampet)
- Work Mode: Work from Office only
- Shift: Rotational shifts including night shifts
- Relocation assistance available for non-Chennai candidates
