Role Overview
We are looking for a Talent Mapping specialist who will be responsible for conducting extensive recruitment talent research, senior professionals & leadership identification and pipeline creation across industries and functions.
The individual will work closely with recruitment teams and other stakeholders to build talent database, generate market intelligence, and support strategic hiring requirements through high-quality research and candidate mapping.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, analytics, talent intelligence, and executive search support activities.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Mapping & Market Research
- Conduct talent mapping exercises across industries, functions, and geographies.
- Identify relevant companies, target talent pools, and organizational structures for hiring requirements.
- Build detailed market maps for leadership and niche hiring requirements.
- Research competitors, industry movements, and talent trends.
- Create talent pipelines and succession talent pools for ongoing and future mandates.
Candidate Identification & Intelligence
- Identify and shortlist relevant candidates through LinkedIn, databases, networking platforms, and other sourcing channels.
- Gather candidate intelligence including reporting structures, compensation benchmarking inputs, tenure analysis, and career progression insights.
- Maintain structured and updated talent databases.
- Support recruiters and consultants with market insights and candidate research.
Stakeholder & Delivery Support
- Collaborate with recruiters and executive search consultants to understand mandate requirements.
- Support search strategy creation for challenging and leadership hiring assignments.
- Ensure high accuracy and quality in research deliverables.
- Prepare mapping reports, market summaries, and talent insights for internal and client discussions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in Talent Mapping, Executive Search Research, Recruitment Research, or Talent Intelligence.
- Strong expertise in LinkedIn sourcing and market research.
- Proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, and other similar tools.
- Strong understanding of organizational structures and talent landscapes.
- Ability to work on multiple mandates and tight timelines.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience in executive search or recruitment consulting firms is highly preferred.
