Role Overview:
The Progression Incharge will work closely with the Progression Manager to support students throughout their academic journey. This role focuses on student guidance, mentoring, engagement, and progress tracking, ensuring students stay motivated, make informed decisions, and remain on track to achieve their goals.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to build hands-on experience in student success, mentorship, and academic operations.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Student Guidance & Mentorship
Act as a mentor and first point of contact for students for academic and career-related guidance
Conduct regular 1:1 check-ins to understand student progress, challenges, and goals
Provide structured guidance, clarity, and motivation to keep students on track
Escalate complex or sensitive student concerns to the Progression Manager
2. Student Engagement & Support
Support and execute student engagement initiatives to improve learning outcomes
Identify students who may need additional attention or intervention
Assist in conducting mentoring sessions, group discussions, and touchpoints
Collect and share student feedback to improve engagement and mentoring processes
3. Progress Tracking & Insights
Maintain and update student progress trackers using Google Sheets / Excel
Assist in reviewing academic and engagement data for student monitoring
Share key observations and insights with the Progression Manager for timely interventions
Experience :-
1-3 years of prior exposure in mentoring, peer learning, teaching assistance, counseling, or student-facing roles.
Having psychology background will be a plus.
Skills :-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel
Strong listening skills and ability to understand student concerns deeply
Ability to guide students with clarity and structure
