A day in the life of this role
Corporate Development & Strategy sits at the centre of how the company thinks about growth, priorities, and long-term inorganic strategies.
This is an execution-heavy strategy role.
Role summary
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, the Associate / Sr Associate – Corporate Development supports company-wide strategic execution through analysing KPIs and OKRs, competitive intelligence, market research, and scouting inorganic growth opportunities. structured insight.
What you’ll do
KPI & OKR analysis
- Track and analyze company-level and function-level KPIs and OKRs.
- Identify trends, deviations, and second-order implications.
- Convert performance data into clear, leadership-ready insights.
Competitive intelligence
- Monitor competitors, global SaaS benchmarks, and adjacent platforms.
- Analyze positioning, pricing, product strategy, GTM motion, and disclosures.
- Maintain structured competitive briefs and periodic updates for leadership.
Market & space research
- Break markets into clear segments and adjacencies
- Research emerging spaces, new categories, and ecosystem shifts.
- Develop market maps, sizing views, and strategic implications.
Inorganic growth
- Support identification and evaluation of potential acquisition or partnership targets.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of companies across priority themes.
- Conduct first-pass analysis on business models, traction signals, and strategic fit.
Strategic synthesis & reporting
- Prepare concise notes, one-pagers, and presentations for leadership and board reviews.
- Bring structure to ambiguous problems and incomplete information.
- Help create internal frameworks and playbooks for repeatable strategic analysis.
What we’re looking for
- MBA from a Tier-1, Tier-2 institutes.
- 1–2 years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or high-quality SaaS operating roles, market research roles.
- Strong analytical ability with comfort in ambiguity.
- Clear written thinking; able to distil complexity into structured insight.
- Solid Excel / Sheets and PowerPoint skills
- High ownership mindset with low tolerance for fluff.
