Position Summary
Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Scientific Games Technologies India Private Limited. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge gaming solutions and grow within a dynamic technology environment.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications and features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing software products.
- Learn and apply new technologies and methodologies as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and data structures.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, C++).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Basic understanding of database concepts (SQL, relational databases).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
- Prior internship experience in software development is a plus.0
