About the Role
We're looking for an SEO Associate to drive organic growth across our websites. You'll own keyword research, on-page, off-page and technical optimization, and performance reporting, working closely with content, design, and development teams to improve search visibility and traffic.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and map keywords to content, surfacing high potential opportunities for review.
- Run on-page optimization: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and schema markup.
- Perform technical SEO audits for crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, and structured data and flag issues for developer fixes.
- Analyze competitors' rankings, content, and backlink profiles to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Support content planning by briefing writers, optimizing existing articles, and building topic clusters.
- Track rankings, traffic, and conversions using Google Analytics and Search Console; flag issues early.
- Prepare weekly/monthly SEO reports with clear insights and next steps.
- Assist with off-page efforts such as backlink outreach and basic local SEO tasks (Google Business Profile updates, citations).
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar).
- Solid analytical skills comfortable turning data into actionable recommendations.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
Nice to Have
- SEO certifications (Google, HubSpot, SEMrush).
- Experience managing SEO across multiple websites or brands.
