We’re Hiring: Associate / Senior Associate – Media & Entertainment Law 🎬🎭
Are you passionate about the business of films, OTT, talent, brands and entertainment?
Hirani & Associates, based in Bandra West, Mumbai, is expanding its specialised Media & Entertainment practice, and we're looking for an Associate / Senior Associate to join our growing team.
**What you'll do:**
• Advise leading production houses, talent management agencies, artists, creators and entertainment companies across the media ecosystem
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including production agreements, artist and talent agreements, endorsement and brand collaboration agreements, influencer agreements, music agreements, content commissioning arrangements, IP assignments and licensing contracts
• Structure and negotiate complex commercial transactions while balancing legal and business objectives
• Manage client relationships, drive transactions independently and work closely with internal teams to close deals efficiently
• Stay abreast of developments in media, entertainment, intellectual property and technology laws
**What we're looking for:**
• 3–5 years' PQE in Media & Entertainment law
• Strong experience advising production houses, talent managers, artists, studios or other entertainment businesses
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills
• Sound understanding of copyright, intellectual property and related legal frameworks
• A self-starter with the ability to independently manage transactions with minimal supervision
