Role Overview
This is an in-person role that blends sales, marketing, and on-ground brand building. The Sales Outreach Associate will identify and execute new offline opportunities to sell and promote our products, manage pop-up stalls at college fests/malls, lead outreach for collaborations and influencer tie-ups, and be the bridge between on-ground and online customer feedback and the founder.
Key Responsibilities
1. Offline Sales & Brand Activation
● Identify, negotiate and secure offline sales opportunities (college fests, exhibitions, collaborations with brands, flea markets, pop-ups, and campus events).
● Plan and coordinate on-ground activations — from stall setup to product display, sampling, and promotions (hampers etc.) and execute in-person.
● Work with vendors to source/ cost-effective materials (stalls, banners, stands etc.) where needed.
● Track and report ROI from each activation (sales, footfall, leads, engagement, social media following increment from offline events).
2. Brand & Influencer Collaborations
● Identify and reach out to potential collaboration partners — other Gen Z brands, college societies, and micro-influencers and follow it through.
● Manage and initiate outreach with potential partners via DMs, emails, and follow-ups.
● Work with the founder to curate giveaways and PR hampers for influencers.
3. Customer Engagement & Feedback
● Handle outgoing sales communication — Instagram DMs, emails, WhatsApp etc via Interakt.
● Collect feedback and insights from on-ground consumers to share with the marketing and product teams.
● Appropriately handle D2C customer escalation/queries/concerns (via email/WhatsApp/call)
● Ensure customer satisfaction by calling each consumer 5-7 days after they have received their product for their feedback. Report founder and head of operations on the monthly/weekly basis.
