PwC Role Profile: Associate – Technology Consulting (Capital Markets)
Role Summary
As an
Associate in PwC’s Sales & Trading /
Capital Markets Technology Consulting practice, you will help deliver technology-enabled transformation projects for global banks, broker-dealers, and asset managers. You will focus on
business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design across trading, risk, and post-trade functions. You will gain exposure to emerging technologies such as
AI, automation, and machine learning and how they can be applied to enhance efficiency, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support business analysis, requirements definition, and documentation of technology change initiatives.
- Contribute to solution design sessions focused on trading, risk, and operations platforms.
- Assist in project management activities such as reporting, governance, and stakeholder communications.
- Analyze opportunities to apply automation, AI, and advanced analytics to capital markets processes.
- Prepare client deliverables including process flows, design documents, and presentations.
- Collaborate with PwC colleagues in Risk, Operations, and Data to deliver integrated solutions.
Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years in technology consulting or business analysis within financial services.
- Familiarity with the capital markets lifecycle (front office to post-trade).
- Knowledge of trading platforms, risk systems, or post-trade processing solutions.
- Knowledge of workflow tools, automation platforms, or AI/ML use cases in financial services (trade surveillance, reconciliations, predictive risk analytics)
- Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s in finance/technology strongly preferred.
- Certifications in project/business analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum) beneficial.
