Role Description The Associate Researcher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Secunderābād. The Associate Researcher will support day-to-day laboratory activities, including planning and executing experiments, preparing reagents, and conducting synthetic or analytical work under the guidance of senior scientists. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate experimental records, analyzing data, preparing technical reports, and contributing to method development and process optimization. The role also involves routine operation and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments, adherence to safety and quality standards, and participation in team meetings to discuss project progress. The Associate Researcher will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and support technology transfer or scale-up activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related discipline, with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Hands-on experience in synthetic or analytical laboratory work, including preparation of solutions, handling chemicals safely, and following standard operating procedures.
- Ability to record, interpret, and present experimental data clearly, with attention to detail and good documentation practices.
- Familiarity with common laboratory instruments (such as HPLC, GC, NMR, LC-MS, or related tools) and willingness to learn advanced techniques.
- Knowledge of basic quality, safety, and compliance requirements in a research or manufacturing environment (e.g., GLP, GMP awareness).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and manage time across multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in standard office and scientific software (e.g., MS Office, electronic lab notebooks, data analysis tools).
- Prior internship or industry experience in CRO, CDMO, or pharmaceutical R&D environments is an advantage.
- Demonstrated curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work in a fast-paced, project-driven setting.
