Quality Engineer (Automation)
📍 Gurugram, India | 🕒 12 PM – 9 PM IST | 🏢 Hybrid (2 days WFO)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with strong automation and cloud‑native testing experience to own testing, quality assurance, and release validation across multiple product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end testing and quality delivery for product/core modules
- Review requirements and create test scenarios for complex business rules
- Design and implement test automation strategies across teams
- Lead automation initiatives, including design and code reviews
- Plan and execute functional, regression, API, and performance testing
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture teams
- Define and improve QA processes aligned with overall quality goals
- Report release quality and testing status to stakeholders at all levels
- Mentor and guide team members involved in testing activities
What We’re Looking For
- 2–8 years of Quality Engineering experience
- Hands‑on experience with Playwright, Robot Framework, K6, JMeter (any 2+)
- Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript
- Experience with API testing (RESTful design & best practices)
- Exposure to performance/load testing
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Hands‑on with Cloud‑Native applications
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Kubernetes, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, CloudSQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
