We’re Hiring Junior QA Engineer at Memorae
Break things. On purpose.
The RoleYou’ll own quality across our app and WhatsApp surfaces — testing new features before they reach users, writing clear bug reports, and making sure every release feels as good as it should. This is a hands-on role inside a small, fast-moving product team. Every deployment matters. Your work will be seen by real users.

What You’ll Do- Execute manual and exploratory testing across iOS, Android, and web — covering UI flows and real user journeys
- Test REST APIs using tools like Postman — verify request/response behavior, status codes, and edge cases
- Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and bug reports that developers can act on immediately
- Regression test every release so new code doesn't quietly break existing features
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up test case generation, documentation, and exploratory analysis
- Track bugs end-to-end — from discovery to verification of fix
- Maintain test data and reports in Excel / Google Sheets with clarity and structure
- Collaborate with devs and product to prioritize defects and ship quality, fast
What We’re Looking For- Basic understanding of UI testing, app testing, and manual testing across mobile and web
- Familiarity with API testing concepts — you know what a status code means and how to read a response
- Experience writing test artefacts — test cases, test plans, bug reports that a developer can follow without guessing
- Comfortable with MS Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting
- Hands-on with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude in your daily workflow — not as a gimmick, but as leverage
- Strong attention to detail — you notice when a label has a typo, a button is misaligned, or a flow doesn't feel right
- Clear, concise communication — your bug reports are steps to reproduce, not walls of text
- A curious, tinkerer mindset — you explore edge cases thoroughly
Compensation₹45,000 – ₹50,000 per month, with a clear path to grow inside the company.
