Role Overview
We are looking for a mid-level Project Manager with 2-4 years of experience to lead the
end-to-end delivery of software and clinical product initiatives in a healthcare environment.
This role sits between Associate and Senior PM levels and is expected to manage projects with
cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, product, QA, and regulatory teams.
You will be a part of planning, execution, and delivery of projects that directly impact patient
outcomes and clinician workflows. Good communication and willingness to learn are essential.
What This Role Is Not
- A purely technical role. You will work closely with engineers but do not need to write code.
- A role for someone who needs heavy direction. You actively follow up and keep things moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Delivery
- Support the creation and maintenance of a project plan.
- Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, decision logs, stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Take part in tracking project success metrics - delivery predictability, resolving dependencies, and quality project metrics.
- Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the point of contact for project updates across Senior project manager, engineering, product, QA, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Facilitate structured meetings (sprint reviews, stand-ups, steering committees)
- Healthcare & Regulatory Context
- Ensure project workflows comply with applicable standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or local MDR/FDA requirements where relevant.
- Process & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and brainstorm process gaps and improvements with the stakeholders.
- Conduct structured retrospectives and ensure learnings are actioned in future
projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience delivering software projects in structured, process-oriented environments.
- Demonstrate any experience in coordinating a project end-to-end, from planning to delivery.
- Comfortable using project planning and tracking tools. (Jira, or equivalent)
- Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and the ability to work fluently with engineering teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messaging to technical
and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to spot risks and flag them in a timely manner.
Nice-to-Have
- CSM/PSM 1, CAPM(Certified Associate Project Management) or equivalent project management certification.
- Exposure to clinical validation processes, post-market surveillance, or regulatory submissions.
- Aware of quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 13485 or similar frameworks.
