We are looking for an experienced and execution-driven Associate Project Manager to manage solar project execution and O&M operations at our Hyderabad office.
Role Overview
The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project execution, coordination, and operation & maintenance (O&M) activities for solar projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, stakeholder coordination, and operational oversight to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Management
- Manage end-to-end execution of solar projects from planning to commissioning.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, vendors, contractors, and site teams.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and deliverables.
- Ensure smooth execution and timely completion of projects.
Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
- Oversee O&M activities for operational solar assets and systems.
- Monitor plant performance, uptime, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of operational issues.
- Coordinate with field teams for maintenance planning and execution.
Technical Coordination
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
- Support project optimization, quality assurance, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, technical requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, EPC partners, and internal teams.
- Manage contractor performance and ensure adherence to project milestones.
- Prepare project status reports, progress updates, and operational MIS.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and operational records.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety norms, and project procedures.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.
Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification
- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in the solar industry with exposure to project execution and O&M activities.
- Experience in solar EPC, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of solar project execution and plant operations.
- Knowledge of O&M practices, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and operational activities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, project management tools, and reporting systems.

- Ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced project environments.
- Problem-solving mindset with high ownership and accountability.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
