ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Program Manager will play a critical role in managing operations and execution role in enabling career readiness and placement preparation for students. This role sits at the intersection of mentor relations, program operations, stakeholder management, and execution excellence.
You will work closely with senior industry mentors, students, and multiple internal teams to ensure seamless program delivery, high-quality mentor engagement, and smooth operational workflows. The role requires strong ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to manage complex coordination across stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Process Management
- Own the end-to-end operations of the Mentor Union program
- Manage relationships with industry mentors, senior professionals, and alumni
- Coordinate mentor onboarding, scheduling, engagement, and ongoing communication
- Ensure mentors have a smooth experience while interacting with students and internal teams
- Act as the primary point of contact for mentors, resolving operational queries and coordinating program activities
Dashboarding & Analytics
- Create and maintain dashboards for student readiness, recruiter engagement, mentor mapping, and process tracking
- Analyze data to identify gaps, risks, and improvement areas
- Share regular reports and insights with leadership and cross-functional teams
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with academics, operations, finance, and placement teams to ensure smooth program execution
- Coordinate across teams to manage mentor requirements, scheduling logistics, and communication flows
- Act as a central node ensuring alignment between students, mentors, and internal stakeholders
Student & Query Management
- Address and resolve operational queries from students and mentors in a timely and structured manner
- Maintain clear documentation and communication trails
Vendor & Finance Coordination
- Manage vendor coordination, ticket handling, and service follow-ups
- Prepare and validate invoices, trackers, and documentation
- Coordinate with the finance team for timely processing and closures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in operations, program management, analytics, or coordination roles
- Experience in campus operations, career services, or high-touch programs preferred
Skills
- Strong analytical and dashboarding skills (Excel / Google Sheets required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong execution, organisation, and multitasking ability
- Effective stakeholder and vendor management skills
