Job Description
As the Product Lead, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision, working closely with engineering, data, and design teams. Your role is crucial in translating business requirements into actionable product specifications, ensuring timely and quality deliveries. You will also conduct market research, analyze competitors, and gather customer insights to inform product decisions. Additionally, you will lead go-to-market strategies, monitor product performance, and drive continuous improvement through agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations.
- Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories, providing guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of product features and enhancements.
- Drive product lifecycle management, overseeing the entire process from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights gathering to inform product development and positioning.
- Partner with stakeholders to align product initiatives with business objectives, ensuring a cohesive and impactful product roadmap.
- Monitor product performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), analytics, and user feedback, identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, rollout plans, and adoption strategies, in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
- Ensure continuous improvement through agile methodologies, fostering a culture of iteration and innovation within the product team.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to the overall product strategy, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong experience (15-23 years) in product management or product ownership roles, with a proven track record of delivering digital or enterprise technology products.
- Excellent understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and their application in product development.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data, design, and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms for collaboration and documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Exposure to BFSI, Telecom, or Digital Transformation domains is preferred, with a good understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
- Experience with data-driven products, analytics, or AI/ML-based solutions is advantageous, demonstrating a strong grasp of data-centric product development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern tech stacks, including cloud-native architectures and microservices.
- An MBA or equivalent business/technical qualification is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in product management and strategy.
