Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mohali district for an Associate Professor of Computer Science. The role involves developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Computer Science while emphasizing practical and theoretical knowledge. Responsibilities include designing and revising curriculum, guiding student research and projects, mentoring students, and contributing to the department's academic growth. The role may also include participating in collaborative research involving emerging fields such as data science and cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Computer Science, with an in-depth understanding of key concepts and applications.
- Proven ability in Curriculum Development tailored to align with industry trends and academic rigor.
- Proficiency in emerging fields, such as Data Science and Cybersecurity, and their practical applications.
- Advanced Programming skills across multiple platforms and coding languages.
- Experience mentoring students and guiding academic or applied research is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a relevant field is highly preferred.
