Role Description The Associate Professor in the Nursing Department will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate nursing courses, designing and delivering lectures, leading practical sessions, and supervising clinical placements. The role includes contributing to curriculum development, mentoring students, guiding research projects, and participating in academic advising and assessment activities. The Associate Professor will engage in scholarly work, professional development, departmental meetings, and quality assurance initiatives to enhance nursing education and practice. Collaboration with other faculty members, healthcare institutions, and community partners is expected to support academic and clinical excellence. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Sangam University in Pratapgarh.
Qualifications
- Advanced professional competence in Nursing, with strong clinical knowledge and practice experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Nursing Education and Curriculum Development, including course planning and evaluation.
- Specialization or significant experience in Pediatrics and Medicine relevant to nursing practice.
- Recognized academic credentials, such as a Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher; PhD or equivalent in Nursing or a related field preferred.
- Proven teaching experience at the collegiate level, with effective classroom and clinical teaching skills.
- Record of research, publications, or scholarly activities in nursing or health sciences is highly beneficial.
- Strong mentoring, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support diverse learners.
- Commitment to ethical practice, student-centered learning, and ongoing professional development.
