Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune Division, for an Associate Professor, MDP Officer, and Placement Officer at SIBM Pune. Key responsibilities include delivering lectures, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development as an Associate Professor. As an MDP Officer, the role involves designing and implementing Management Development Programs (MDPs) in collaboration with industry. As a Placement Officer, the candidate will foster corporate relations, manage student placements, and coordinate placement activities to ensure successful recruitment outcomes. Additionally, the role includes organizing events, conferences, and activities in collaboration with the student council.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background with expertise in teaching, research, and curriculum development in relevant management disciplines
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills for managing management development programs and corporate engagements
- Experience in student mentoring, event organization, and collaborating with a student-driven council
- Proficient communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills to establish industry connections for placement activities
- Practical experience or familiarity with corporate and industry landscapes, including current trends and practices
- Demonstrated success in managing academic and placement-related responsibilities, with a commitment to nurturing student potential
- Doctoral or postgraduate degree in business management or a related field is highly desirable
