Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for the position of Associate Professor in Computer Science, located in Mohali district. The Associate Professor will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, guiding students through academic and research projects, developing course materials, and keeping up with the latest developments in computer science. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, participating in curriculum design, conducting research, publishing papers, and contributing to the academic and administrative growth of the institution.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Computer Science topics such as algorithms, programming languages, software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data structures
- Familiarity with teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and modern educational tools
- Proven research abilities including authoring research papers, participating in academic conferences, and securing research funding
- Strong communication, presentation, and student mentoring skills
- Collaborative mindset for working with colleagues and contributing to academic and institutional initiatives
- A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science or a closely related field is required
- Prior teaching experience in higher education and a strong publication record are highly desirable
