Job Description: Associate Professor - Computer Science Cluster
About Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore - School of Engineering (SoE), invites applications for Associate Professor in Computer Science cluster (including CSE, AI/ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc.). Candidates must hold B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. exclusively in CS Engineering disciplines, with 10-15 years of relevant teaching/research/industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science specializations.Mentor students, supervise projects/theses, and contribute to curriculum development.Engage in research, publish in reputed journals, and secure funded projects.Participate in academic administration, industry collaborations, and institutional activities.
Essential Qualifications And Experience
B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or closely related engineering field (mandatory).Minimum 10+ years of experience post-Ph.D., including at least 5 years at Assistant Professor level or equivalent.Strong record of publications, teaching excellence, and professional development activities.
Preferred Skills
Expertise in emerging areas like AI, ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, or Robotics.Experience with NBA/NAAC accreditation processes and grant funding.
