About the Role
As an APM on the Marketplace team, you will own and improve core user journeys - search, discovery, cart, and checkout for healthcare professionals transacting on Medikabazaar Chemist Portal. You will work at the intersection of data, product design, and technology to ship improvements that directly impact engagement and revenue. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role with a steep learning curve.
What You Will Do
- Own key marketplace funnels including search, product discovery, cart and checkout - and drive measurable improvements in engagement and conversion.
- Define, track and analyze product metrics using tools like Mixpanel, Hotjar and Google Analytics; translate data into actionable product decisions.
- Identify friction points in the user journey through data analysis, user feedback and funnel diagnostics; prioritize and ship fixes iteratively.
- Leverage AI tools and techniques to identify opportunities and improve overall product experience.
- Write clear, well-structured PRDs and user stories; work closely with engineering to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders across design, tech, category, marketing and operations to align on goals and execution.
- Monitor post-launch performance, run A/B tests and close the loop with data-backed retrospectives.
- Proactively flag data quality, system sync and catalogue issues that affect marketplace performance and follow through to resolution.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in an e-commerce or health tech environment.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and how they apply to product is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical mindset: you are comfortable with data, can run your own queries and do not wait for someone else to pull numbers for you.
- Hands-on proficiency with Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Excel or equivalent data analysis tools.
- Clear understanding of marketplace funnels and the metrics that matter at each stage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present data and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High ownership and execution bias - you follow through, unblock yourself and get things done in a fast-moving environment.
- Collaborative by default but opinionated where it counts; comfortable pushing back with data.
