Job Title: Associate Product Engineer

Job Summary
As an Associate Product Engineer at Temenos Headquarters S.A., you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge financial software products. You will contribute to various stages of the product lifecycle, from understanding user requirements to ensuring the quality and performance of our solutions, all while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to document and model user requirements for new features and product enhancements.
- Actively participate in the application development process, contributing to the design, coding, compiling, and decompiling of software components.
- Assist in IT testing activities, including creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting defects to ensure product quality.
- Support the configuration and maintenance of computer systems, including portal servers, and contribute to WAN switching and firmware configuration as needed.
- Utilize version control systems effectively to manage code changes and collaborate seamlessly with the development team.
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) to enhance the user experience (UX).
- Assist with program installation and configuration, providing technical support as part of broader Information Technology (IT) Support efforts.
- Engage in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial analysis to deployment and ongoing support.
- Conduct assessments of technical solutions and processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Demonstrate strong action planning skills to prioritize tasks and manage personal workload effectively.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated understanding of application development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with compiling and decompiling code.
- Proficiency in computer system configuration and basic networking concepts, including WAN switching and firmware.
- Strong digital literacy and ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
- Experience with documenting and modeling user requirements.
- Basic understanding of Graphical User Interface (GUI) design principles and User Experience (UX) concepts.
- Knowledge of IT testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with program installation and version control systems.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to contribute to Information Technology (IT) Support tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to action planning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
