Associate Product Designer
The Role
ownpath Studios is our consulting arm that partners with startups and enterprises to craft high-impact products and enduring brands.
We believe great design sits at the intersection of creative, business, and technology expertise. That’s why we take a holistic approach across research, strategy, design, and engineering. We work on a variety of digital touchpoints including websites, web and mobile apps, and AI agents, all with a focus on seamless, user-centered experiences. Our work spans industries from healthcare and mobility to fintech, media, productivity, and AI.
Our design academy has upskilled hundreds of designers and unlocked exciting career opportunities for them. We've hosted some of the biggest names in design at our community events. We've worked with leading enterprises such as Hero Motocorp, Philips, as well as some exciting startups. But we'd like to think we're just getting started.
We’re now hiring a Product Designer to help shape digital experiences from early concepts to polished interfaces. You’ll work to bring user-centered solutions to life, from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
What we're looking for
- 0-1 years of experience designing digital products (web or mobile)
- Strong portfolio that shows thoughtful UX/UI decisions
- A good grasp of design tools (Figma preferred) and familiarity with design systems
- Curiosity about users: You ask good questions, run small tests, and iterate based on feedback
- Solid communicator: You can explain your design decisions clearly to teammates and stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset: You’re open to feedback, eager to learn, and enjoy working closely with others
- Bonus: Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
What you'll do
Design Fundamentals
- Translate user needs and business goals into wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces
- Contribute to visual and interaction design across client and internal projects
- Work within and contribute to design systems
- Participate in design critiques and iterate based on feedback
- Deliver high-quality design assets that developers can easily implement
Collaborate Across Functions
- Work closely with founders, PMs, and engineers to align on scope and requirements
- Support design delivery on key client projects with guidance from senior team members
- Communicate your design decisions clearly, with both internal and external stakeholders
Improve Process & Practice
- Help evolve internal design tools and workflows
- Participate in shaping project rituals (like reviews, check-ins, and retrospectives)
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset to your craft and the team
Learn, Share, and Grow
- Receive regular mentorship from senior designers and advisors
- Contribute to content creation — from design breakdowns to behind-the-scenes reels
- Share your learnings via team discussions, AMAs, or posts (we’ll support you!)
- Grow into a future mentor and design leader
