Job Role:
The data privacy office is continuously engaged in governing and operationalizing privacy programs for privacy regulations, laws, frameworks as well as various risk and compliance activities. The data privacy office has ongoing global, regional and industry-specific programs such as:
- the EU, UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
- the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA),
- the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF),
- the IAB US Privacy framework.
Responsibilities:
- Operationalize Media.net’s Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) using our in-house software.
- Respond to privacy complaints as well as data subject requests.
- Respond to data protection technical and organizational measures of Media.net to data subjects through questionnaires.
- Operationalize our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) activities through our in-house software across departments by reviewing our Security Policies, Internal Controls, Exception Management.
- Operationalize various Privacy enhancing Technologies (PeTs) like OneTrust, Quantcast.
- Operationalize regular security awareness training across the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1+ years experience working in a data protection or privacy compliance role while using an industry-renowned PeT
- Solid knowledge of data privacy core fundamentals, national or regional privacy regulations, laws, data protection
- Experience with IAB’s various industry-specific privacy frameworks is an advantage
- Very good command over both oral and written English language
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ethical, with the ability to remain impartial and report all non-compliance
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
