About the Role
The role covers technical leadership, project delivery, team management, client engagement and commercial performance across a diverse portfolio of MEP projects. The successful candidate should combine strong technical expertise with leadership, commercial awareness, and excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Mechanical/MEP projects across various sectors and project stages.
- Take responsibility for technical quality, project delivery and timely completion.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and support to engineers and design teams.
- Review and approve technical packages and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, technical standards and QA/QC requirements.
- Manage team resources, workload and utilisation effectively.
- Identify training needs and support team development and career growth.
- Build a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Act as a key client and stakeholder contact and participate in meetings and presentations.
- Monitor project performance, resources, deliverables and commercial profitability.
- Identify and resolve project and team-related issues.
- Support senior leadership in achieving delivery, quality, profitability and business objectives.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and take ownership of decisions within assigned projects and teams.
Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of relevant experience in building services / MEP consultancy.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong technical expertise in Mechanical Building Services.
- Proven experience leading MEP projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of project delivery, QA/QC and technical standards.
- Strong client-facing, presentation and communication skills.
