Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate role specializing in Original Side Practice at the High Court of Judicature at Delhi. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as pleadings, petitions, and affidavits, as well as providing legal research and case law analysis. The role involves collaborating with senior counsel, attending court hearings, and assisting in the management of court cases to ensure smooth processes and adherence to legal procedural compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding and experience in legal drafting, including petitions, plaints, written statements, and contract agreements.
- Proficiency in conducting in-depth legal research and leveraging case law to support arguments and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, senior counsel, and court officials.
- Time management, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- A valid law degree from a recognized institution and enrollment as an advocate with the Bar Council.
- Prior experience or exposure to Original Side Practice and knowledge of procedural rules specific to the Delhi High Court is preferred.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
