Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all civil engineering aspects of power plant projects, including planning, design review, execution, and commissioning.
- Develop detailed project schedules, ensuring civil works align with overall project timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor construction methods, materials, and workmanship to meet Adani’s high standards for safety, durability, and sustainability.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess progress, quality control, and safety adherence, promptly addressing any deviations or issues.
- Manage project budgets related to civil works, optimizing resource utilization and controlling costs without compromising quality.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, procurement, and environment departments.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable construction practices to minimize environmental impact.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for senior management, regulatory bodies, and clients reflecting project status and civil engineering insights.
- Drive process improvements by incorporating industry best practices, new technologies, and lessons learned from previous projects.
- Champion Adani’s values by fostering an inclusive and ethical work environment, upholding safety as a paramount priority.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. A Master’s degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is advantageous.
