Associate Manager, Store (LIXIL EXPERIENCE CENTER) Bangalore Location
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations while building strong relationships with clients, architects, and interior designers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic business initiatives, and ensuring a premium customer experience. This role blends operational management, client engagement, and strategic sales development within the design and retail industry.

Associate Manager, Store
This pivotal role demands a blend of leadership acumen, exceptional high-value client relationship management (specifically with Architects and Interior Designers), and a proven track record in strategic revenue generation. The primary objective is to spearhead business growth within the dynamic and competitive premium design retail sector. 1. Leadership & Store Operations
- Team Leadership & Development: ○ Inspire, motivate, and mentor the entire sales team, including direct reports such as the Senior Studio Executive, to consistently achieve and exceed all established performance targets (Key Performance Indicators - KPIs). ○ Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, providing ongoing training, coaching, and constructive feedback to enhance individual and team capabilities. ○ Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in sales, client engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Operational Excellence & Customer Experience: ○ Assume full oversight of all daily store operations, ensuring seamless functionality and a consistently exceptional premium customer experience. ○ Rigorously uphold and enforce all visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store environment reflects the brand's luxury image and enhances product presentation. ○ Implement and optimize operational procedures to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and maintain a pristine and inviting showroom.
- Performance Management & Reporting: ○ Proactively monitor, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for both individual performance and the overall team. ○ Utilize sales data and market insights to prepare comprehensive and detailed weekly, monthly, and yearly performance reports, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth. ○ Develop and implement corrective actions and strategic initiatives based on performance analysis to ensure sustained achievement of business objectives. 2. Strategic Client & Key Account Engagement
- Relationship Building & Networking: ○ Cultivate and nurture deep, enduring relationships with critical external stakeholders, including high-net-worth individual clients, leading architects, renowned interior designers, and influential project consultants. ○ Actively participate in industry events, networking functions, and professional organizations to expand the brand's reach and strengthen its presence within the design community. ○ Position the brand as a trusted partner and thought leader within the premium design landscape.
- Key Account Management & Project Facilitation: ○ Serve as the dedicated primary point of contact and lead liaison for all key accounts and high-value clients, ensuring their needs are met with unparalleled service and attention. ○ Expertly facilitate the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry and consultation through to complex post-sale project requirements, ensuring a smooth and efficient client journey. ○ Proactively anticipate client needs and identify opportunities for additional sales and service offerings.
- Solution Provision & Expert Consultation: ○ Provide in-depth and expert product knowledge, offering tailored and customized solutions that precisely address the unique requirements of design professionals and their projects. ○ Oversee seamless project coordination, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery and successful execution of all client projects. ○ Offer professional design advice and product recommendations, acting as a trusted consultant to clients. 3. Revenue Generation & Business Strategy
- Sales Strategy & Target Achievement: ○ Develop, implement, and rigorously execute highly focused and innovative sales strategies designed to not only meet but significantly exceed all revenue targets and consistently improve overall profit margins. ○ Identify new market segments and develop targeted approaches to capture untapped business potential. ○ Continuously evaluate and refine sales techniques and approaches based on market feedback and performance data.
- Business Development & Partnership Forging: ○ Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through the strategic forging of robust partnerships with leading design professionals, corporate accounts, and prominent real estate developers. ○ Initiate and manage strategic alliances that expand the brand's market penetration and enhance its competitive advantage. ○ Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential areas for business expansion.
- Market Alignment & Strategic Planning: ○ Formulate comprehensive and holistic business strategies grounded in thorough analyses of current market trends, evolving customer insights, and competitive landscapes. ○ Develop long-term strategic plans that align with the brand's vision and contribute to sustainable growth. ○ Regularly review and adapt strategies to remain agile and responsive to market shifts. ○
- Marketing Collaboration & Campaign Execution: ○ Collaborate seamlessly and effectively with internal marketing and design teams to strategically plan, develop, and successfully launch impactful marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and product launches. ○ Provide valuable input to marketing based on client feedback and market observations. ○ Ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Industry Expertise & Growth Planning: ○ Maintain an advanced and up-to-date knowledge base of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within both the retail and design sectors. ○ Leverage this expertise to inform and refine the long-term business growth plan, identifying innovative approaches and potential areas for diversification. ○ Act as an internal expert on market dynamics, sharing insights and recommendations with leadership.
