Role OverviewThe Associate Manager – College Counselling plays a key role in supporting the counselling team through high-quality research, structured data management, and direct student/parent engagement.
This is a customer-facing role that requires ownership, strong follow-through, and the ability to independently manage action items. The candidate will help students build competitive academic and extracurricular profiles by identifying relevant global opportunities and ensuring timely execution of plans.
Key Responsibilities- Opportunity & Research Management
- Identify global universities, scholarships, summer programs, competitions, and academic pathways aligned with student goals. Maintain and regularly update a structured opportunity database.
- Student & Parent Engagement
- Conduct meetings and webinars, guide families through profile-building strategies, and ensure accountability with timely follow-ups and closure of action items.
- Analysis & Resource Development
- Prepare comparative university/course analysis, admissions requirement summaries, and create guides or presentation materials to support counselling sessions.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AI tools and prompt engineering (mandatory).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research, documentation, and data organization skills.
- Detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
- Strong online research and analytical skills.
- Excellent writing and documentation abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in deadline-driven environments.
- Familiarity with global university admissions processes is an advantage.
