Legal Content Marketing - Associate
Objective: To translate LiveLaw’s legal authority into:
- Traffic (SEO)
- Engagement (social + video)
- Revenue (courses, subscriptions)
Without touching editorial workflows.
Role:
Content Translation and simplification for easy consumption
Editorial writes for accuracy & reporting. This person writes for audience & growth. They will:
- Convert legal updates to student-friendly explainers
- Turn judgments to “Why this matters” content
- Extract insights for career-oriented / exam-oriented content
Same source content packaged differently, attracting a different audience
Ad Copywriting & Creative Strategy (Collaborate with Performance Marketer and Designer)
- Write high-converting ad copies for Meta and Google campaigns
- Develop multiple messaging angles for testing: Pain-point driven, Aspirational, Urgency/scarcity, Authority-led
- Collaborate with designers for creative direction
- Align ad messaging with landing pages and funnels
Prepare SEO Content (Separate from Editorial)
Build search-first content, not news. Examples:
- How to prepare for judiciary exam 2026
- Difference between BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) and IPC (Indian Penal Code)
- Landmark cases every law student must know
Search content, not editorial content. This is evergreen content which serves as our growth engine.
Course & Funnel Content (Revenue Driver)
- Landing pages (Course landing pages, B2B Landing Pages)
- Email sequences
- WhatsApp Messages
- Social + Video Scripting
- Instagram carousels
- LinkedIn posts
- YouTube scripts (especially for explainers)
Content Repurposing
Take 1 editorial article and turn it into multiple valuable resources such as carousel, infographic, video script, email
Skills Required
Must-Have:
- Legal background (LLB preferred)
- Strong writing with simplification ability
- Audience understanding of Law students, Judiciary aspirants, Young lawyers
Highly valued -
- Copywriting (sales + engagement)
- SEO fundamentals
- Scriptwriting
- Ability to think in content systems, not pieces
