About The Role
BCP Associates is looking to expand its Legal Audit team with dynamic and detail-oriented professionals. This is a full-time role for an Associate - Legal Audit located in Bengaluru. The role involves collating & analyzing submitted documents with Labour and Employment laws, auditing financial and operational data, reviewing licenses & registrations, and ensuring adherence to central & state specific regulatory requirements & rules. Additional responsibilities include providing detailed reports on findings, maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the organization’s efforts in legal audits and compliance initiatives.
Who We Are Looking For
- Fresh law graduates with a strong interest in Labour & Employment Laws; or
- Legal professionals with 2–3 years of experience in labour and employment law advisory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal compliance audits under various Labour & Employment legislations.
- Review company policies, registers, records, and statutory filings.
- Identify compliance gaps, risks, and potential liabilities.
- Assist in preparing audit reports, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations.
- Track regulatory developments across states and support advisory deliverables.
- Coordinate with client stakeholders during audit engagements.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding (or keen interest) in Indian Labour Laws and emerging Labour Codes.
- Analytical skills to assess data, identify discrepancies, and evaluate compliance
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with stakeholders and preparing reports.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Good research, documentation, and drafting skills.
- Ability to work on multi-state compliance frameworks.
- Experience or familiarity with Indian Labour Laws and compliance frameworks is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to compliance tools/technology is a plus.
