Job Responsibilities :
Job Purpose:
- Planning the various Class Room Training Programs as per Training Need Identification and executing the planned program as per schedule and through liaison with site disciplined heads/faculty.
- Preparing monthly and yearly Training Calendar to stake holders for them to organize their participation
- Documenting the training records.
- Liaison with Manufacturing Academy Mumbai for preparing monthly MIS and releasing.
- Ongoing CAS related queries # assistance in resolving.
- Job Accountabilities
- Shall support the L&D Planning & Operations in performing the following activities :
- Initiating Training Needs Identification process annually and obtain TNI#s from employees.
- Preparing & releasing Annual / Monthly Calendar
- Overall Co-ordination for Class-room program delivery at LC as per Event Calendar
- Record keeping of Attendance, Feedback forms of participants in classroom delivery
- Maintenance/ upkeep of Infrastructure at LC
- Extend assistance in CAS ongoing program through trouble shooting of system.
- Coordinate Rewards & Recognition Programs like Teacher Day/ Faculty felicitation.
- Coordinate audit of LC activities with visiting auditors.
- Explore ways of improving LC experience by adopting new technology
- Preparing monthly/yearly LC highlights
Education Requirement :
- Engineering degree or Diploma in engineering
The ideal candidate will have all or a good mix of the following:
- Strong understanding of functional development and learning
- Strong understanding of business and Academy specific function
- Experience of understanding learning needs, translating into successful solutions, and evaluation of solution.
- Very good command on usage of Computers/ Learning related system/ Data Collection & documentation.
- Competency Management experience # across of a range of learning and development projects, size and type.
- Resilience and Energy # we believe in a healthy work/ life balance but candidates should be aware that this is a demanding fast paced environment with a high work volume, requiring both mental and physical resilience at times.
Experience Requirement :
- Engineering degree with 1-2 years# experience. In large Hydrocarbon Industry having big L&D infrastructure.
- Diploma in engineering with 7-8 years# experience working in large Hydrocarbon Industry having big L&D infrastructure, preferably some years in L&D itself
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Evidence of continued development
- Experience of working in the large Refinery/Petrochemical plants
- Experience of working in Training related activities-such as planning/documentation of records/preparing MIS etc.
- Tech savvy
Skills & Competencies :
Skills Required (Knowledge And Skills)
- Has good faculty skill and has option to be involved in delivery, where appropriate.
- Has knowledge of general unit operations in Refinery which will help him preparing and checking learning contents and be effective co-assessor during validations.
- Should be conversant with SAP/BI/HANA system for tracking and documenting training records.
- Should have HSEF knowledge besides Chemical functions for giving training to DET#s /GET#s on specific topics.
- Should have high interpersonal skill as job requires liaison regularly with mentors / Faculty for arranging faculty/TNI#s/seeking training nominations.
- Has Behavioural Competencies of Customer Value, Ownership mind-set to ensures no/minimum cancellation of training program, imparting training as per TNI/Curriculum and effective training is imparted..
- Has ability to impart training on generic simulators.
- Should be fully conversant with CA System/implementation process.
