Role Overview
As an Associate Interior Designer, you will be responsible for transforming design concepts into technical realities. You will bridge the gap between the creative phase and the execution phase by producing high-quality 2D/3D visualizations and managing the critical documentation (BOQs and Quotations) that keeps our projects on track and on budget.
Key Responsibilities- Design & Drafting:
- Develop detailed 2D technical drawings, including floor plans, electrical layouts, and plumbing sections using AutoCAD.
- Create immersive 3D models and renders to help clients visualize the final space.
- Costing & Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive Quotations based on design specifications.
- Draft and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure material accuracy and prevent cost overruns.
- Conduct site measurements to ensure drawings match "as-built" conditions.
- Vendor & Site Coordination:
- Liaise with vendors to source materials and get updated pricing.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure the design is being executed according to the technical drawings.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a design firm (Residential or Commercial).
- Portfolio: Must demonstrate a strong ability to produce both aesthetic renders and precise technical working drawings.
