- Regulatory Compliance & Monitoring
- Stay updated on employment laws, labor regulations, and compliance requirements in APJ and assess their impact on the company.
- Analyze regulatory changes and provide advisory to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance
- Support our HR team for employment regulations related to employee lifecycle management and statutory compliance related aspects.
- Implementation of the latest amendment and notification pertaining to labor and employment law at an organization level
- Enable the ongoing identification of operational and regulatory risk ensuring clear mitigation plans are defined, tracked and implemented.
Audits & Risk Assessments
• Conduct periodic compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential gaps.
• Implement corrective actions and best practices to mitigate compliance risks.
• Maintain records and reports on compliance activities, audits, and findings.
Training & Awareness
• Support training initiatives to enhance compliance awareness across HR and business teams.
• Develop compliance training materials and conduct workshops on employment regulations and best practices.
Stakeholder Management & Advisory
• Work closely with corporate, legal, and HR teams to ensure employment policies align with regulatory standards.
• Provide advisory support on compliance-related matters, including hiring, termination, workplace policies, and employee relations etc.
Key Qualifications & Skills
✔ Experience: 4-7 years in HR, with at least 2-4 years in HR compliance or a related function.
✔ Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in the APJ Region (Asia Pacific & Japan)
✔ Skills:
• Ability to interpret complex labor laws and provide actionable insights. Good with legal research
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; Good with presentation skills
✔ Education: LLB, Master’s degree in Human Resources – MBA
✔ Certifications (Preferred): HR compliance, Audit, ISO relevant to the field of Compliance
