Associate General Manager - Contracts
We are seeking an experienced Associate General Manager - Contracts to join our team in Delhi. The successful candidate will have a strong background in regulatory and contracts, with a focus on tariff filing, force majeure, and approval of project costs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the regulatory framework and be able to draft and negotiate contracts effectively. Additionally, experience in commercial due diligence and M&A will be highly valued.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Review and analyze tariff filings to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Manage force majeure events and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Approve project costs and ensure alignment with company budgets and financial plans.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory frameworks and ensure compliance with new regulations.
- Draft and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Conduct commercial due diligence and M&A activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective contract management and compliance.
Requirements
- 12-15 years of experience in regulatory and contracts, with a focus on tariff filing, force majeure, and approval of project costs.
- B.E. (Electrical/Mechanical), MBA (Finance)/ MBA (Power Management) or CA degree.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and contract management principles.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Experience in commercial due diligence and M&A activities, with a focus on identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
