Who You’ll Work With
This role is based out of the ORG CoE which sits in the broader Data & Tech cluster at the BCN. ORG CoE works on building and deploying analytical solutions pertaining to Operating Model and Organization Practice, delivering quality analysis and generating strong business insights.
The team primarily helps Bain case teams, across geographies and industries, solve critical client issues by applying battle-proven diagnostics/ solutions that can identify client pain points related to org, culture, and talent. They also play a significant role in creating, testing, and contributing to the proprietary products and Bain IP within the domain, in close collaboration with Organization Practice leadership.
What You’ll Do
Develop knowledge of diagnostics, solutions, and clients within the Org domain and guiding case teams to deploy the most efficient mix of tools, data, and tech-enabled approaches on their case
- Understand client needs across multiple contexts/ geographies/ industries and recommend actionable solutions based on sound reality checks
- Support the Manager/ Project Leader in driving the day-to-day execution of cases, preparing work plans, and ensuring successful delivery of client requirements
- Take responsibility for assigned work streams and generate hypotheses; execute the work plan including industry research, data analysis, and presentations
- Build, automate, and scale analytical workflows using Python and SQL to improve the speed, robustness, and quality of Org diagnostics, surveys, and benchmarking outputs
- Leverage GenAI and AI-enabled workflows to streamline internal processes, accelerate insight generation, and enhance the quality of client-facing deliverables
- Contribute to the build, testing, and continuous improvement of proprietary Org products and Bain IP, working closely with Organization Practice leadership
- Work fluently across the analytics stack - Excel, PPT, Tableau/ Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, and Python and deliver zero-defect analysis through clear, professional presentations
- Start to provide thought leadership and sound business judgment to drive the team’s analysis on complex workstreams/ cases
- Consistently seek and provide meaningful feedback, and provide coaching to Analysts to help develop their skills and create opportunities for growth
About You
Must have:
- Be a graduate with 24+ months of relevant experience or post-graduate with 12+ months of relevant experience in consulting/ analytics/ data/ market research domain
- Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and workflow automation
- Demonstrated experience leveraging GenAI / AI-enabled workflows to solve business problems and improve productivity
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau/ Power BI, and Alteryx
- Curious and creative mindset, able to collaborate effectively in a virtual, agile team and handle multiple tasks under pressure
Good To Have
Prior consulting/ market research experience or understanding of Organization/ Operating Model topics with insight into related data, metrics, and trends
Experience with survey-based tools and analytics, diagnostics, or benchmarking
Exposure to product-building, internal platform development, or modern data warehouse/ analytics ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
