Associate - Financial Modelling & Valuation (Experienced)
Location: Gurgaon (on-site only)
Firm Type: Boutique Advisory Firm (Valuation & Transaction Advisory)
Reporting To: Partner / Director
Experience: Minimum 2+ years (hands-on modelling and valuation (diff methods))

We are a boutique advisory firm supporting mid-market companies across India and overseas. Our work includes valuation, financial modelling and transaction advisory support for M&A and fundraising mandates across sectors.
Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Associate focused on building robust financial models and delivering valuation analysis, with strong attention to auditability, and assumptions and valuation report writing skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile (What we are looking for)
· 2+ years with Tier 1 / Tier 2 firms in Financial Modelling & Valuation (Firms can be valuation firms, finance advisory firms, consulting firms, or equivalent).
· Strong hands-on experience building structured models (3-statement, scenarios, sensitivities) with clear checks and documentation.
· Comfortable preparing valuation notes/reports and client-ready presentations (clear assumptions and outputs).
· High ownership, attention to detail and ability to communicate insights clearly.
Key Responsibilities
· Build and maintain end-to-end financial models (3-statement, forecast, scenarios & sensitivities) with strong checks and documentation.
· Perform valuation analysis using DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and asset-based approaches as relevant.
· Prepare valuation reports / memos and presentations with clear methodology, assumptions and outputs.
· Support business plan building: unit economics, margin bridge, working capital and cash flow forecasting.
· Conduct industry / peer benchmarking to support valuation assumptions and narratives.
· Work with client finance teams to reconcile historicals, validate inputs and ensure model integrity.
Qualifications & Skills
· CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) preferred;
· Strong grasp of valuation concepts, corporate finance and accounting fundamentals (Ind AS / IFRS awareness preferred).
· Excellent Excel modelling and strong PowerPoint / report writing skills.
