POSHN is a new and exciting India based Food-tech venture founded in 2020, backed by leading US-based VCs, Large Banks and NBFCs. Our mission is to organise and digitally transform the global Food Supply chain market. Our core team comprises alumni from BITS Pilani, IIM, and XLRI, each with over a three decades of experience in business transformation, supply chain, technology, and product development. Previously, we have built several highly impactful tech startups from the ground up.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes and knowledge of GST and Income Tax.
Responsibilities
- Strong Knowledge of Accounting Software- Zoho
- GST & TDS Reconciliation
- GST Return – 1, 3B, ISD return and annual GSTR 9.
- TDS return 24Q, 26Q, 27Q and 15CA CB and income tax return
- Calculation of income tax and deferred asset and liability calculation.
- Finalization of Balance Sheet & Profit and Loss account
- Managing day to day accounting entries
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Research and analyse expense variances for company management
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Semi-qualified CA
- Should have sound knowledge of Zoho & Advance Excel
- FMCG Industry or CA Practice experience will be preferred
