We are seeking Entry Software Engineer, .NET who will be reporting to Sr. Manager - Supply Chain. This role is part of the team that is responsible for Application portfolio management and development that focuses on building and configuring software solutions.
This Entails
- strategizing, roadmap planning, selecting, architecting/designing, building and implementing technology solutions to solve complex business problems.
- portfolio management for entire business applications suite
- actively managing the on-going health and supportability of the portfolio in alignment with IT Ops & Support,
- partnering with other IT and business teams to deliver end to end technology solutions for Catalyst Brands. The team provides IT solutions to Supply Chain team.
Critical Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle to build technical solutions for small to medium complex efforts.
- Partner with teams to implement process improvements and automations to our production environment. Document all key processes to further drive performance.
- Support testing processes, work with team members to resolve issues, and assure high quality code through the implementation of testing frameworks.
- Handle production incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing immediate fixes or workarounds to minimize business impact.
- Execute production deployments and manage rollback procedures. Maintain high availability across production, staging, and development environments.
- Manage source code integrity using version control systems (Git/SVN) and oversee environment-specific configurations.
- Develop and test technical enhancements and hotfixes.
- Proactively monitor system performance and logs to identify potential bottlenecks or failures before they affect the warehouse floor.
Critical Skills & Experiences
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Dot Net implementation, development, and customization for below:
- Languages: C#, VB.Net, ASP.NET
- Dot Net Framework 4.8 and above. Dot Net Core 6.0 and above
- MVC, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, IIS, Bootstrap5
- Web API and Web services (RESTful and SOAP)
- Windows services, Batch console applications
- C# unit testing frameworks
- SQL Server and Oracle DB, including SSIS packages
- Source code management tools including using Subversion, Jenkins, Git
- Must have some understanding of OOPS and Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)
- Nice to have experience in below technologies:
- Messaging technology such as Kafka and Connect: Direct
- Angular JS or React JS
- Microservices architecture with API Gateway
- Nice to have experience in Agile/ Scrum methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
