What You’ll Be Doing...
You will be leading a team of Recruiters who are responsible for finding and recruiting world class talent for Verizon. The talent that enables us to make a difference for our customers and drive the business forward. You will develop and implement recruiting strategies that support the business and demonstrate our belief that people are our most important asset.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading, motivating, and inspiring your team to deliver high impact results.
- Reviewing business strategies and plans with business and HR leaders, to identify current and future talent requirements and trends.
- Crafting and implementing recruiting strategies to support the growth and success of our business.
- Partnering with business leaders to manage expectations and anticipate recruitment challenges and opportunities.
- Measuring the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, tracking and sharing metrics with key partners on an ongoing basis.
- Setting clear objectives and targets for your team.
- Driving a premium experience for all candidates and hiring managers that the Talent Acquisition team interact with.
- Ensuring compliance and adherence to necessary processes and standards within your team.

You’re great at ensuring that nothing gets in the way of providing the best candidate experience, and finding the best people in the competitive market for talent.
You’ll Need To Have
- A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Twelve or more years of experience that has involved working in talent acquisition.
- Five or more years of experience in leading a team of Recruiters.
- Previous experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies.
- Experience in recruiting for technical and consulting services positions.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A Master’s degree.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience of working within a Recruitment Consultancy or Executive Search business in addition to working within an internal talent acquisition team.
- Effective consulting, influencing, and negotiating skills.
- Experience of working within a global IT Services, Software or Telecoms business.
- Knowledge of how advanced technology (such as artificial intelligence) can be effectively utilised within a talent acquisition function.
