About GreyOrange
GreyOrange is a global leader in AI-driven robotic automation software and hardware, transforming distribution and fulfillment centers worldwide. Our GreyMatter platform powers real-time orchestration across robotic fleets, enabling enterprises to reduce cost per unit, improve fulfillment speed, and scale intelligently.
With deployments across 70+ global sites and 700+ robots at single locations, GreyOrange operates one of the most sophisticated real-time orchestration platforms in industrial automation.
About The Role
We are looking for an Associate Director – Product Management (Module Lead) to own and scale one or more critical modules within the GreyMatter Multiagent Orchestration platform.
This role is ideal for a deeply technical product leader who thrives in complex distributed systems environments. You will not own the entire platform strategy globally — instead, you will take complete end-to-end ownership of specific high-impact modules
You will act as the product authority for your module(s), partnering closely with Engineering, Architecture, and Global Product leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Module Ownership
- Define and execute the roadmap for the assigned GreyMatter modules.
- Own feature prioritization, technical trade-offs, and release planning.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability at enterprise scale.
Technical Collaboration
- Work hands-on with the Engineering and Architecture teams on system design.
- Contribute to discussions around distributed systems, latency constraints, real-time orchestration, and optimization logic.
- Ensure strong API-first, developer-friendly design principles.
AI & Optimisation Integration
- Integrate AI/ML models into module workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement through data feedback loops.
- Partner with Data Science teams to productionize models in real-time environments.
Global Stakeholder Alignment
- Work closely with US-based Product and Customer teams to align on roadmap priorities.
- Translate field deployment feedback into product enhancements.
- Support pre-sales conversations for module-specific deep dives when required.
Execution Leadership
- Mentor and guide PMs or APMs within the module scope.
- Drive clarity in PRDs, success metrics, and release outcomes.
- Own module-level KPIs (performance, stability, adoption, customer impact).
Who You Are
Deep Technical Product Leader: You likely began in Engineering, Robotics, Systems, or Optimization before moving into Product. You are comfortable diving into algorithm complexity, distributed system trade-offs, and system bottlenecks.
Systems Thinker: You understand cloud-native architecture, real-time systems, and hardware-software integration. You can reason about scale, latency, and performance constraints.
Strong Executor: You can break complex platform problems into modular roadmaps and deliver iteratively without compromising long-term architecture integrity.
Cross-Functional Collaborator: You work effectively across time zones and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in Product Management or Technical Product roles. 5+ years working on platform, robotics, industrial AI, or deep-tech SaaS products. Experience owning complex distributed system modules
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AI/ML workflows and real-time data systems. Experience with APIs, SDKs, and platform components. Exposure to optimisation algorithms, multi-agent systems, or swarm intelligence is a strong plus
- Leadership: Experience mentoring PMs or leading small product pods. Strong cross-functional execution experience
