About The Role

This is a senior leadership role with clearly defined responsibility for the key strategic area of Finance, likely to be cross-university and have overall responsibility for maintaining functional integrity across the Faculties and Professional Services.

The role will be line managed by the Chief Financial Officer but may have direct accountability to the Council, for a defined strategic area. They will be empowered to act on behalf of the Registrar as well as being one of the nominated Deputies to the Chief Financial Officer.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
