Role Overview
We are looking for an Associate Director – Business Development to drive enterprise partnerships across India’s fintech and financial services ecosystem.
This role focuses on identifying and scaling group affinity and institutional insurance programs with NBFCs, banks, fintechs, and other institutional partners. The role requires building strong client relationships, structuring partnership programs, and driving revenue growth through both new partner acquisition and account expansion.
You will own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from opportunity identification and client acquisition to program launch and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop partnerships with NBFCs, banks, fintech platforms, and institutional financial partners
• Structure and launch group affinity insurance programs aligned with partner ecosystems
• Own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle from prospecting and client acquisition to program launch
• Build relationships with CXOs and senior decision-makers across financial institutions
• Drive revenue growth through partner acquisition and account expansion
• Collaborate with internal teams across product, operations, and insurer partners to successfully launch programs
Requirements
• 8+ years of experience, including at least 6 years in insurance, insurtech, or institutional insurance distribution
• Experience working on group affinity programs, institutional partnerships, or credit protection products
• Proven experience selling to NBFCs, banks, fintech platforms, or digital ecosystems
• Strong track record in partner acquisition and revenue growth
• Experience managing enterprise relationships and complex partnership structures
Good to Have
• Exposure to embedded insurance models or partner-led distribution
• Understanding of insurance product structuring and program design
• Experience working with fintech or digital lending ecosystems
• MBA or equivalent professional qualification
