Role Overview
We are looking for an Associate Director – Operations (AMC) to lead and scale our post-sales service operations, while acting as a critical bridge between Sales and Operations.
This role will ensure seamless handover from sales to execution, drive high-quality service delivery for AMC customers, and build systems that enhance customer experience, retention, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate comes from a strong operations background, with experience in managing service delivery, cross-functional alignment, and large-scale field operations.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Sales → Operations Integration
- Act as the primary bridge between Sales and Operations teams
- Ensure smooth handover of projects/customers from sales to execution/AMC
- Align on customer expectations, scope, timelines, and SLAs
- Minimize gaps, miscommunication, and post-sales escalations
🔹 AMC Operations Ownership
- Lead end-to-end AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) operations across regions
- Ensure timely service delivery, preventive maintenance, and issue resolution
- Drive high standards of system uptime, performance, and customer satisfaction
🔹 Customer Experience & Retention
- Build processes to ensure excellent post-sales customer experience
- Reduce complaints, improve TAT for issue resolution, and increase renewals/retention
- Act as an escalation point for critical customer issues
🔹 Team Leadership & Field Operations
- Lead and scale central + field AMC teams (technicians, supervisors, coordinators)
- Define clear KPIs and performance metrics
- Drive productivity, accountability, and capability building
🔹 Process & SOP Development
- Design and implement SOPs for AMC workflows (ticketing, maintenance, escalation)
- Standardize processes across locations for consistency and scalability
- Continuously improve systems for efficiency and cost optimization
🔹 Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Sales → for customer commitments and renewals
- Projects/Execution → for installation quality and handover
- Supply Chain → for spares and inventory
- Ensure alignment across teams for end-to-end customer lifecycle management
Ideal candidate:
- 10–15+ years of experience in operations, preferably in:
- Solar / Energy / EPC / Facility Management / Service Operations
- Strong experience in post-sales service / AMC / field operations
- Proven ability to manage large distributed teams
- Experience in cross-functional stakeholder management (Sales + Ops)
- Have led high growth large scale operations and fleets which span in 1000+ Field teams
- Strong problem-solving and process-building mindset
