About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic professional for the role of Associate Director – Growth & Sales to lead business growth initiatives, revenue generation, market expansion, and sales operations for offline/online business verticals.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in team handling, revenue ownership, business expansion, sales strategy, and P&L management, preferably from EdTech, Retail, Education, or high-growth startup ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive overall revenue growth and achieve business targets across assigned regions/verticals.
- Own and manage complete sales funnel including lead generation, conversion, retention, and revenue realization.
- Build and execute growth strategies for market expansion and business scaling.
- Manage and mentor large sales teams including Team Leads, Managers, and Business Development Associates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, Operations, and Academics for business growth initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, productivity, and business KPIs.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and expansion areas.
- Ensure process adherence, operational efficiency, and customer experience excellence.
- Drive offline center growth, admissions strategy, and local marketing initiatives wherever applicable.
- Prepare business reports, forecasts, and strategic presentations for leadership reviews.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6+ years of experience in Sales/Growth/Business Development roles.
- Proven experience in team handling and revenue ownership.
- Strong understanding of business expansion, customer acquisition, and sales operations.
- Experience in P&L management and target-driven environments.
- Prior exposure to EdTech, Education or Startup ecosystem preferred.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
Preferred Background
- Tier 1 / Tier 2 colleges preferred.
- Experience in offline business expansion or regional sales leadership will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with startup scaling experience preferred.
