Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director – Business Development to drive enterprise sales and strategic growth across K2’s consulting practices.
This role will focus on developing relationships with enterprise clients and Global Capability Centers (GCCs) while positioning K2’s consulting services across enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, integration platforms, and AI-led transformation initiatives.
The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise consulting sales, platform ecosystems, and digital transformation programs, along with the ability to engage senior technology stakeholders and position K2 as a trusted transformation partner.
This role is based in Chennai and requires full-time work from office to enable close collaboration with consulting, delivery, and alliance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within enterprise organizations and Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
- Build strong relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Digital Transformation leaders, and Platform Owners.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities aligned with enterprise platform modernization and transformation initiatives.
- Engage with clients to understand technology landscapes, transformation priorities, and operational challenges.
Enterprise Platform Consulting Sales
Drive opportunities across K2’s platform ecosystems including:
- ServiceNow
- SAP
- Salesforce
- Microsoft (Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics)
- Integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, and Workato
- AI and Generative AI solutions
Responsibilities include:
- Positioning platform-led consulting and transformation solutions aligned with business outcomes.
- Identifying opportunities where multiple platforms intersect (for example integration, workflow automation, or enterprise modernization initiatives).
- Collaborating with consulting leaders to shape strategic transformation programs for enterprise clients.
Strategic Revenue Channel Development
Support and expand multiple go-to-market channels that drive consulting engagements.
Direct Enterprise Accounts
Develop and expand relationships with enterprise clients and GCCs through a land-and-expand strategy, converting initial consulting engagements into broader platform transformation programs.
System Integrator Partnerships
Collaborate with System Integrators and consulting partners to support larger transformation initiatives where K2 can contribute specialized platform expertise and delivery capabilities.
Alliance-Led Opportunities
Work closely with strategic platform alliances including ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, and integration ecosystem partners to support co-sell opportunities and joint go-to-market initiatives.
Platform-Led Strategic Engagements
Support enterprise transformation initiatives where enterprise platforms and automation technologies play a central role, helping clients modernize operations, workflows, and digital capabilities.
Sales Execution
- Manage the end-to-end enterprise sales lifecycle, including opportunity identification, client discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Work closely with solution architects, consulting leaders, and delivery teams to craft compelling client proposals.
Pipeline & Sales Management
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities across multiple platform practices.
- Track opportunities using CRM systems to ensure pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline progress, deal status, and business development activities.
Performance Expectations & KPIs
Success in this role will be measured through:
- Revenue growth from enterprise consulting engagements
- Development of a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of experience in enterprise technology consulting sales.
- Proven experience selling enterprise platforms, consulting services, or digital transformation programs.
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Must be based in Chennai or willing to relocate and work from office full-time.
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling consulting services across enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, or integration platforms.
- Experience working with Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India.
- Experience engaging global enterprise stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Understanding of enterprise integration, workflow automation, cloud platforms, and AI-led transformation initiatives.
