The Associate – Design & Trade Communications will be responsible for how the organization presents itself to the world across digital platforms, social media, events, publications, presentations, and stakeholder communications. This is a frontline communications role at the intersection of design, institutional storytelling, digital content, and international trade communication. The role requires a design professional who can take ownership of the organization’s visual identity, think independently, understand the context behind each communication, and translate business, trade, and economic development themes into compelling visual formats. The ideal candidate should not merely execute design briefs, but actively contribute ideas, research trends, understand institutional priorities, and create content that reflects the credibility and global positioning of the World Trade Center brand. Key responsibilities include the following
1. Design & Brand Communications
- Create high-quality design assets for WTC communications, including event collateral, corporate presentations, investor decks, trade publications, brochures, reports, proposals, and stakeholder materials.
- Maintain visual consistency across all WTC centers, including Shamshabad, Visakhapatnam, Future City, Genome Valley, and Hosur.
- Ensure all communication materials are aligned with the organization’s brand identity, institutional tone, and global positioning.
- Develop infographics, visual summaries, and data-led communication formats to simplify complex trade, investment, and economic development information for diverse audiences.
- Support the design of professional materials for government, embassy, industry, investor, and international stakeholder engagements.
2. Social Media & Digital Content
- Manage and strengthen WTC’s digital presence across platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Create social media posts, carousels, reels, event highlights, campaign assets, and digital creatives that reflect the organisation’s institutional standing.
- Proactively ideate content around trade events, bilateral partnerships, delegations, MoUs, business forums, government engagements, and organizational milestones.
- Research relevant market trends, trade developments, industry themes, and digital content formats to keep WTC’s communication timely, informed, and relevant.
- Track content performance and continuously improve quality, consistency, engagement, and audience reach.
3. Video & Multimedia
- Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and produce video content for trade events, delegation visits, interviews, brand campaigns, and institutional storytelling.
- Create reels, short-form videos, event recaps, and multimedia assets suitable for digital platforms.
- Ensure video content reflects the credibility, professionalism, and global reach of the World Trade Center brand.
- Manage basic post-production requirements, including editing, transitions, subtitles, audio balancing, and finishing.
4. Events & Stakeholder Communications
- Design and produce communication materials for international delegations, trade missions, business summits, bilateral meetings, roundtables, conferences, and government engagements.
- Support end-to-end event communications, including pre-event promotions, invitations, venue branding, presentation materials, live coverage, post-event highlights, and reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams, event partners, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure all materials are accurate, on-brand, and delivered within timelines.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all stakeholder-facing communication.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with a strong and diverse portfolio are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign.
- Strong working knowledge of Canva and other digital design tools.
- Experience in video production and editing, including shooting, cutting, and finishing short-form content.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, branding, and visual communication.
- Ability to research market trends and convert insights into timely and relevant communication assets.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, vendors, and event partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project management or content planning tools will be an added advantage.
- Prior exposure to international trade, economic development, public policy, institutional communications, or business events will be a distinct advantage.
