HCL Tech is hiring for Associate/Deputy Manager - Actuarial Valuation for Noida location. Please find the below details:
Experience: 5 to 10years
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Quarterly reporting across all key metrics SII, IFRS17 and the Group’s measure of economic value
- Production of below using Prophet (FIS) or GGY Moody AXIS
- SII Best Estimate Liability (BEL) and Technical Provisions, including documentation of assumptions and methodology.
- model point data (MPF’s) and narrative reports on data validation, controls, key movements and reconciliations.
- Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) for SII including stressing assets and liabilities in line with the Standard Formula; analyse and document drivers of change.
- IFRS 17 reserves data checks/validations and sign-off packs.
- analysis of surplus for SII and outputs for IFRS Analysis of Change (AOC),
- actuarial inputs to SII QRTs, SFCR, RSR and Report & Accounts notes/disclosures; ensure internal consistency and traceability to core results.
- Results for ORSA and business plan, including balance sheet projections for base scenario, range of stresses and scenarios.
- SII and IFRS sensitivities
- Perform experience investigations (persistency & mortality) & share findings, impacts, recommendations.
- Maintain complete audit trail of workpapers, controls, approvals and evidence; ensure compliance with governance, data security and record retention requirements.
- Plan and allocate work across the team; review outputs, provide coaching, and escalate risks/issues proactively.
- Identify and implement process improvements (templates, reconciliations, automation, data pipelines) with appropriate change control and documentation.
- Other tasks –
- Ensure that work is processed as per agreed quality standards for correctness and fairness.
- To ensure that all enquiries are recorded correctly on the Company Systems, for work to be scheduled to the individual and the team and to provide an audit trail.
- To ensure that you are aware of the company complaint and incident identification procedure and that these are acted upon immediately to minimise regulatory breaches, customer/client detriment and business image.
- To undertake any other duties as may be deemed appropriate by your manager.
